Monarch Butterfly Festival

Providence Bank of Texas is proud to present Bob Jones Nature Center and Perennial Garden Society’s Third Annual Monarch Butterfly Festival on September 23, 2017, 9:00-11:00am!

The festival grew from approximately 50 to 500 attendees from 2015 to 2016 and we are expecting even more folks this year!

The Monarch Butterfly Festival is a FREE event open to the public; however registration is required to release a butterfly. The first 500 children and youth who registered have the opportunity to release a butterfly personally.

Unfortunately, at this time all 500 butterflies have been reserved. Despite not physically releasing a butterfly, we still encourage you to participate in the release festivities!*

If attending, please make note of the following:

  • Please email us at to provide us a good contact phone number in the instance we experience unforeseen circumstances on the festival day. We want to be able to call and/or email our guests.
  • In the email, let us know how many kids and how many adults will be attending in your party. We want to capture these numbers to ensure we have enough craft & activity supplies.
